Galerie Mikael Andersen was established in Copenhagen in 1989 and shows exhibitions of Danish and International contemporary art. The pro le of the gallery relies on some of the most talented artists of the young generation and also includes a number of important Danish and International artists that emerged on the art scene in the eighties and nineties.
Between 2007 and 2014 Galerie Mikael Andersen operated a gallery space in Berlin and expanded its focus to the German art scene.
Galerie Mikael Andersen has curated a number
of exhibition projects outside the gallery.

Vanesssa Beecroft, Daniel Buren, Mona Hatoum,
Pierre Huyghe, William Kentridge, Martin Kippenberger, Elke Krystufek, Paul McCarthy &
Mike Kelley and Pipilotti Rist.
